Masters of Tying the Knot

Become a Part of
The Society

'What is The Society?' - It's Josh & Christine, your team of dedicated wedding concierges. Your vendors, masters of creating beautiful spaces and seamless affairs; for a truly unforgettable wedding day.

It is also you, your partner, and the other couples we have helped make their dream day a reality. Your perfect wedding cannot be pulled off single handedly; We are the rallying force behind your team of amazing vendors.

Wedding Dance Moment

'I Don't Need a Wedding Coordinator.' - You're right, but we really don't recommend it! Who is going to make sure your vendors are on time? Who will assist with any issues they run into while setting up; you'll be busy getting ready. Who is going to make sure everything is set for cocktail hour while you're saying your vows? You are NOT the hosts at your wedding, you are the guests of honor!

A family member offered to help run the wedding! - This is a recipe for disaster for more reasons than I can list here; the least of which being a lack of expertise, no guarantee of follow through, and they wouldn't be able to enjoy the day if they are working.

The Beau Society is a Chicago Based Wedding Planning Firm available nationwide. We specialize in Day-Of Coordinating, Elopements, and ceremonies for LQBTQIA+ Couples!

Our Story

Why the dark, black and purple, themed wedding page? I am the black sheep wedding planner, whom breaks from tradition. I don't try fitting your dreams into some fluffy white and pink mold! The Society designs weddings around your style and tastes ... the purple, black, and 'rose gold' are a nod Josh's Wedding colors.

The Method in The Madness: I like to get to know you both, what you both love, how you are with friends and family not work, what you have planned, and what your vision for the day is! I will ask a variety of probing questions, I will be both someone to bounce ideas off of but I will also keep you in your lane when you start to veer too much. I am your human stress ball during the months leading up to your big day, the one your vendors pester so you can relax and focus on what is important: each other!

Us vs Them: The classic quality vs quantity dilemma, I am sure you will get great results from a larger wedding firm. However, something I often heard from clients & experienced first hand as a groom was getting 'lost in a busy schedule.' My husband and I used a wonderful large firm that handled coordination, florals, decor, and catering; which sounds amazing. The only issue was we went weeks, even leading up to the week of the wedding, where we didn't hear from our coordinator or anyone. It would take days to get responses to questions, etc. They managed to pull almost everything together with 2 exceptions they admitted got lost in their emails, and we loved our wedding but there was additional un-necessary stress leading up to the day.

A Small Society of Specialists:  Dedicated masters of Micro-Weddings, Day-Of Coordination packages, and Emergency Coordinator Support. We love supporting members of our LQBTQIA+ community celebrate their love in Chicago & across the country.

After almost 2 decades in hospitality, striving to master every facet of the industry; Josh would always return 'home' to weddings: 'the love, the elegant designs, the challenge, all of it excites me to my core!' Hyper-focusing on executing your plan, throwing myself into designing your magical day, in my element under a tight deadline controlling the chaos, pulling together your vendors to manifest your perfect wedding; one you and your guests will never forget!

Meet your Planner

Josh Beaumont, Founder, Principal Planner

Inspired profoundly by my grandparents, who taught me everything from gardening and baking to Mexican cooking, sustainability, and creative problem-solving, I built a foundation rooted in hospitality, innovation, and heart after discovering a passion for parties, cooking, and bringing people together at an early age.

My event career began in 2008 with my first job in a banquet hall. Over the years I’ve worked nearly every corner of the hospitality industry—rising from dishwasher and line cook to server and event planner, then restaurant manager, and business partner/owner. No matter where my career has taken me, I always return to weddings. Known for my organization, thoroughness, and flair, I approach every event through the eyes of you and your guests, anticipating needs and solving problems before they arise. And when necessary, I’m not afraid to bring a bit of sassy, seasoned leadership to keep the day running smoothly. Weddings are my passion, and a hyper-focused dedication to ensuring every couple feels cared for, celebrated, and completely at ease on their most important day. A self-described hopeless romantic, I love the blend of structure, creativity, and joy that each celebration brings.

If my hospitality experience isn't enough to convince you, I have also been doing extensive in the field research on the elusive 'Homo-domesticus-forgettus' aka the husband since 2014. Studying the behavior of my own. Through my exhaustive study I have to completely understand their delicate ecosystem, their strengths, short-comings, and how to coax out a desired behavior with treats and belly rubs.
